Portions of I-65 re-open following multiple crashes in Hart County

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky State Police is responding to multiple crashes on Interstate 65 Wednesday morning.

KSP Public Affairs Officer Trooper Katan Parker says the I-65 northbound lane at the 62-mile marker through mile-marker 67 in Hart County was closed for several hours due to icy road conditions.

Parker reports that KSP responded to 5 collisions in Hart County caused by roadway conditions.

No injuries have been reported.

Parker says lanes are now open and troopers are working to improve traffic patterns.
