BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With 2026 officially here, many are saying “new year, new me”, but the same could also be said for the countless seats up for election.

All across south central Kentucky in 2025, we saw a break from the hectic election cycle that 2024 brought us. But 2026 is due for a much of the same that we saw in ’24. With the final date to file for election in Kentucky set for January 9th at 4 PM, many seats all across south central Kentucky are now up for election this year.
