WKU Player of the Week: Lady Topper basketball forward Zsofia Telegdy

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Our latest WKU Player of the Week is none other than Lady Topper basketball forward Zsofia Telegdy!

Telegdy and the Lady Tops returned to the win column over the weekend at North Dakota and the senior had a big impact in the victory over the Fighting Hawks.

Telegdy scored a team-high and a personal season-high 15 points on Sunday, with twelve points coming in the form of three pointers.

She was also working the glass with eight rebounds, just one shy of her best this season.

Since joining WKU just a year ago, Telegdy has been a starter in every single game and her ability to operate efficiently on both offense and defense have made the Budapest native an important piece on the roster.

Next up for Telegdy and the Lady Toppers is another road matchup on Friday, this time just down the road in Chattanooga.
