Hotel Inc. memorial service for the unhoused population

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Often, the unhoused population is overlooked, but one organization is changing that narrative.

Hotel Inc. is holding a memorial service to honor people who have passed away because of homelessness. This is not just for those who have passed away.

It can also remove some of the financial pressure and stress from the loved ones connected to the person who has passed away.

“We’re unfortunately not alone in remembering folks,” Karen Foley with Hotel Inc., said. “But we feel like it’s important to do because, again, these are our neighbors. These are people in our community, each one a child of God. And so, just to honor the dignity of the life that they lived.”

The service is Dec. 19 at noon, and you can reach out to Hotel Inc if you know anyone who may have passed away, to make sure that everyone who needs to be honored can be.
