GRREC Host a round table conversation for superintendents around the region
BOWLING GREEN, KY.- Dozens of super-intendents from around the region made a stop in Bowling Green
GRREC hosted a Q&A panel that included state representatives and a senator. The topics focused on the big beautiful bill, specifically, and some of the challenges faced within schools. One solution that was discussed starts with preschoolers, and giving them a solid foundation to start with.
“We had so many kids across the state that do not have a level playing field because of the background that they come from,” Representative Kevin Jackson said. “They didn’t choose to be born into that, but they were. So in order to ever have a level playing field, I think we need to extend what we’re doing for three and four-year-olds.”
This won’t be the last time state officials and educators are in an open discussion.
