Warren County Clerk’s Office distributes new ‘Beautify The Bluegrass’ license plates

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Wednesday, the Warren County Clerk’s Office distributed the new “Beautify The Bluegrass” license plates which were designed by local students at Western Kentucky University.

These new, locally designed license plates are available for purchase at the clerk’s office for $25, with $10 of each purchase going to Operation PRIDE to help with their Beautifi-65 project, along with other things they are currently working on.

The locally designed plates will be available all across the Commonwealth, which means that people all across the state can see what Bowling Green has to offer.

When asked about how important it is that these plates are available statewide, Warren County clerk Lynette Yates stated, “I think it’s huge.”

I had a good response from fellow clerks that were talking about their community love it. I know that Operation Pride has reached out to some of the other communities that are kind of going around and talking to these counties to form their own beautification for their county and Operation Pride,” Yates said.

The plates are available at the Warren County Clerk’s Office while supplies last with plans to order another big shipment in the near future.
