BRASS spreads hope for the holidays
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Every year, Barren River Area Safe Space creates a place for people to celebrate their holiday traditions.
This year’s ‘Hope for the Holidays’ event recognizes at least a dozen different celebrations, including Christmas.
The event provides the community with an opportunity to show support for survivors and their families.
Tori Henninger, the BRASS executive director, shares, “All year long, we request items. And it’s really important for us to remember that even in crisis and even in chaos, it’s important to make magic happen. To get to experience the gift of anonymous giving.”
If you can’t give during the Christmas season, BRASS accepts donations year-round.
Right now, you can give in multiple ways:
- Make a monetary donation at brassinc.org/donate. Each donation helps support survivors and their children this holiday season.
- You can adopt a family or individual, providing them with gifts, essentials and joy. Email info@brassinc.org or call 270-781-9334 to be matched with a family or individual.
- Sponsor an ornament for the agency tree. One hundred percent of donations will go directly toward buying holiday gifts for survivors and their children. Click here to learn more.
- Shop for gifts on BRASS’s Amazon wish list here.
