For decades, Doug Gorman has served Bowling Green and Warren County in a variety of leadership roles.
This week, the Warren County judge-executive filed for re-election, emphasizing his goals of responsible budgeting and community development.
Gorman said his focus remains on teamwork and steady progress rather than recognition.
“If you just work hard, great things happen,” Gorman said. “We’re not worried about who gets the credit — we just want to make this the best place to live.”
The judge-executive said he wants to keep improving Warren County while managing its rapid growth. He highlighted infrastructure expansion as a key priority in his next term.
“We want to always have a balanced budget, which we’ve done,” Gorman said. “But we also want to manage growth and preserve what makes Warren County unique.”
As more candidates prepare to file, the local ballot continues to take shape.
The deadline to submit paperwork for the upcoming election is Jan. 9.
