CenterPointe Church gives back with a car show and auction

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 8th Annual CenterPointe BG Car Show and Auction is back this weekend, promising a day of family fun and community support.

Hosted by CenterPointe Church, the event has raised over $100,000 in recent years to benefit children in the Bowling Green area.

This year’s event will feature free food, door prizes and a motorcycle up for auction.

Lead Pastor Jacob Holmes said the heart of the event is helping families who are struggling, especially during the holidays.

“It is the joy of our hearts to be able to give to the community,” Holmes said. “A lot of people are looking for ways to do that—they just don’t know how or where those needs are.”

He added that past donations have helped families provide Christmas gifts, shoes and coats for their children.

The car show will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18, starting at 9 a.m.
