SAFY of Kentucky holds ribbon cutting for new location in downtown Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – SAFY of Kentucky held a ribbon cutting for their new location in downtown Bowling Green Thursday afternoon.

The previous location they had on Lehman Avenue saw some damage, and a new building was needed.

SAFY works with foster families in the community to offer family centered services and create meaningful change… and they couldn’t do it without the support of the community.

“The more support we have, the more resources we have, the more success for our families are, our youth are, they are the next generation, right? So we want to see them grow, we want to see them develop and become adults and moving into the world and the community,” Elizabeth Furrow, a recruiter with SAFY of Bowling Green, says.

SAFY’s new address is 1027 College Street, near the corner of 11th Avenue in downtown Bowling Green.
