‘Boos and Brews’ set to return to Capitol Theatre with added date

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Public Library is expanding the Boos and Brews Festival in 2025.

The event will include both a family day and an adult day of movies at the Capitol.

Family Day is October 24th and features both “Hocus Pocus” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

Adult day follows on October 25th, and will have classic horror movies like “Fright Night,” the original “Scream,” and “From Dusk till Dawn.”

The expansion comes after last year’s event packed the house, thanks in large part to strong community support.

“It was obvious that we needed to expand it… there was a demand for a bigger event, and we just want to get the kiddos involved too… so have something for them, and it’s a fun and affordable way that a family can come out and celebrate Halloween,” Meagan Miles, the Marketing Manager with the Warren County Public Library, says.

Trick or treating on Friday the 24th starts at 5:30 PM with the first movie at 6. Saturday the 25th’s festivities start at 4 PM.
