Rep. Michael Meredith endorses Andy Barr for U.S. Senate

OAKLAND, Ky. — On Thursday, Kentucky State Rep. Michael Meredith (R-HD-19) announced he’s endorsing Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.
“Farmers, small business owners, and all Kentuckians can trust Andy Barr,” Meredith said. “He’s working with President Trump to expand access to new markets for our cattle farmers, to strengthen our financial system, and to ensure that conservatives, Christian organizations, energy companies, and firearms businesses are never denied access to financial services.”
“In the private sector and in the State House, Meredith has always put South-Central Kentucky first,” Barr said. “Rep. Meredith and I will fight for our farmers and to cut taxes, and to rollback job-killing regulations that will grow small businesses. I’m honored to have his endorsement.”
Officials say Meredith has represented Kentucky’s 19th District in the State House since 2011. The district now includes Edmonson and part of Warren County.
Meredith is a loan officer at the Bank of Edmonson County, where he has served for over two decades, assisting Kentuckians in south-central Kentucky.
