Man to be released from prison after Ky. child’s death

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WKYT) – One man is being released following the death of a young child in Versailles.

WKYT reports on December 7, 2015, Dean Tipton woke up to find a man attacking his children.

The family says Ronald Exantus entered their home and attacked them, ultimately leading to the death of six-year-old Logan Tipton.

The child’s father says immediately after his son’s death, he lost his will to live.

In the years since, the family has done their best to cope but mentions they are mentally and emotionally scarred.

According to WKYT, the family is hurt that Exantus will no longer be behind bars.

Logan’s father says, “I’ve had my talks with God cause I’m not afraid to tell you all, I told the court – if I ever cross paths with him, I will kill the man. I will kill him where he stands.”

The family says they’ve been notified Exantus will serve six months of parole in Florida.
