Feeding America opens new facility in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Each September, Hunger Action Month unites nonprofits across the country, and this year marks a major milestone in Kentucky.

Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland, has officially opened a new facility in Bowling Green to serve thousands of families across Warren County and beyond.

Executive director Charles Dennis says the organization’s new physical presence will help deepen connections with local partners, corporations, and volunteers. With ties to more than 250 agencies, the expansion aims to meet rising needs in the region.

Shannon Clark of Houchens Industries highlighted their ongoing partnership and praised the facility’s potential to deliver more support where it’s needed most. “

The need has increased here in Warren County and in the western portions of the state,” Clark said.

Feeding America is also leveraging its statewide network to maximize partnerships and improve access to fresh food.
