Victory Hill Dream Center getting ready to host Sportsman’s Dinner on Sept. 13
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The biggest fundraiser of the year for the Victory Hill Dream Center is right around the corner, as its annual Sportsman’s Dinner is coming up.
It takes place on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Allen County Scottsville High School and will feature Chris McDaniels, former lead singer of “Confederate Railroad,” as a guest speaker.
The evening will also feature food, vendors, a silent auction and a huge giveaway of Cabela’s gift cards.
All the proceeds will go towards helping the Dream Center and the many programs they offer to Scottsville and the surrounding areas.
“It allows us to have this space so we can have community support throughout the week. We have meetings in our local detention center. We have a feeding program where we hand out lunches four days a week. We operate an emergency shelter in the winter time. We offer peer supports, just all of the different programs that we are able to do here is through this fundraiser,” director Amy Payne says.
Tickets are on sale now. To find out more, visit VH Dream Center’s Facebook page.
