Warren County Public Schools hosts annual Back-to-School Bash at Hillvue Heights Church

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With school season right around the corner, Warren County Public Schools hosted their annual Back to School Bash at Hillvue Heights Church.

It featured the Wicked Potato food truck, as well as popcorn and t-shirt giveaways, with all of the county’s family resource coordinators on hand as well.

With many different organizations from around the community having tables set up to introduce themselves to families, it’s all about making sure that the community at large knows what resources are out there.

“They’re introduced to those resources that we will eventually refer them to for different needs throughout the year… and so if they have the opportunity to meet those vendors and resources at this, they’re not completely new to them,” Alvaton Elementary School’s Family Resource Coordinator Jill McClard says.

Staff with WCPS are excited to welcome students back to classes on August 6th.
