Hart County football kicks off 2025 season with midnight madness practice

HART COUNTY, Ky. – The KHSAA dead period officially ended this past Wednesday at 11:59 p.m., and at midnight, one local team was already eager to get to work.

The Hart County football squad and cheerleaders were wide awake and on the field for the annual midnight madness practice this week at the Raider football stadium.

Hart County’s football program has been an absolute force the past two years, going undefeated in back-to-back regular seasons and making a deep run in the 2023 class 3a state finals.

So, of course, if the Raiders want to keep up the momentum for the 2025 season, it starts the minute the team can get to work.
