Support Sleep in Heavenly Peace
LING GREEN, KY.- The Catholic Heart Workcamp has brought teens and adults from across the U.S. to Bowling Green for a week dedicated to service. These volunteers are spending their days painting homes, completing repairs, and building beds for families in need. One of their key partners is the nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which works to ensure that no child sleeps on the floor.
Scott Duvall, Chapter President, says the group builds and assembles the beds by hand. “There’s still a long waiting list,” he says, “but days like this will knock a little chunk out of it.” The need in the community remains high, and volunteers are helping reduce that gap one bed at a time. Supporters can get involved by donating storage space, materials, or volunteering their time. Together, their work is bringing comfort and care to families across Bowling Green.
