Chaney’s Dairy Barn wins gold at Los Angeles International Dairy Competition

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For the third straight year, Chaney’s Dairy Barn has struck gold at the Los Angeles International Dairy Competition, with two flavors bringing home gold medals.

The Cookie Butter and Mint Chocolate Chip flavors brought home the gold, with the former, their newest flavor, also earning “Best in Class” honors.

The competition even featured a class called “Award-Winning Ice Cream,” where Chaney’s samples were used to help others learn how to enhance their flavors.

For the team, however, this sweet victory is just another way to serve up pride in their product.

“We kind of use this as an opportunity to see how we can better our ice cream, because they will give us comments on what they think of the ice cream, whether it’s really good and flavorful or whether it’s just… different things that it can be for the ice cream. So we’re tickled to death just for them to be three years in a row and have two more gold medals,” Carl Chaney says.

Above, you can see some of the flavors that have won gold in the past, including How Now Brown Cow, Butter Pecan and Cookies & Cream.

Carl says the medals should be arriving soon, and this shows the team at Chaney’s is on the right track when it comes to their ice cream.
