Gov. Andy Beshear orders flags to half-staff on Friday

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear has ordered that flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Friday, June 27 in honor of a Fort Campbell soldier who died in an aviation accident.
U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Dustin Kelly Wright, 40, of Woodlawn, Tennessee, died as the result of wounds from an AH-64 Apache helicopter training accident at Fort Campbell on Wednesday, June 11.
Wright was assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
Wright will be interred at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville on Friday.
