Rardin named Prep Baseball Kentucky’s 2025 Player of the Year
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The South Warren Spartans baseball team finished up its season a few weeks back at the state tournament, and Thursday, the squad’s shortstop and 4th Region Player of the Year Griffin Rardin was named Prep Baseball Kentucky’s 2025 Player of the Year.
Rardin led the Spartan offense in most offensive categories and was even high-ranking in the state, leading the bluegrass in hits (55) and RBI (48) and among the top ten in a few other key statistics (second in doubles with 19, eighth in triples with 6, ninth in slugging percentage with 0.891).
Now that his time playing under head coach Chris Gage has come to a close, the senior will prepare for college ball this upcoming fall where he will be competing for the Bucs at Shelton State Community College in Alabama.
