Changes to SOKY Marketplace include renaming to SOKY Center, new website
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Recently, you may have noticed some changes to what was formerly SOKY Marketplace in Bowling Green, the biggest one being a name change.
It’s now known as the SOKY Center and is managed by the Warren County Public Library.
Friday, it officially launched its website as a hub for what’s happening at 636 Center St.
Manager Gretchen Mitchell says they’ll be offering things like a commercial kitchen for rent, but the main goal is making sure the community stays active and aware of important things.
“Our goal is to really provide great programming, and a wellness space, not only movement classes, yoga, things like that but also educational classes like learning about Medicare and things that folks need to know about. That’s like the whole body experience: mind, body, soul type things, so we’re really excited about that,” she says.
