Operation P.R.I.D.E. raises flag at Cumberland Trace Elementary
WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- Warren County has a new addition bringing a wave of community pride.
Thanks to Operation P.R.I.D.E. , a towering 107-foot flagpole now stands at Cumberland Trace Elementary, flying a massive 30-by-60-foot American flag.
It’s part of the “Beautify I-65” project, aimed at enhancing the local landscape and inspiring patriotism. The flag’s presence isn’t just felt at the school — it’s catching the attention of drivers passing along the interstate.
Jennifer Kash with the WCPS Board of Education says it’s an honor for the school to be highlighted in such a powerful way. She says the flag brings pride not only to Cumberland Trace but to the entire Warren County school community.
This highly visible symbol is already making a lasting impression. And this won’t be Operation P.R.I.D.E.’s last effort — News 40 will keep you updated on future community projects.
