Nurturing Our Nurses event gives back at Village Manor

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Even the smallest gesture can make a big impact, and that’s exactly what Village Manor aimed to do this morning.

The senior living community hosted its second annual Nurturing Our Nurses event, a free day of pampering for nurses across south-central Kentucky.

From massages to sweet treats, the day was all about giving back to those who give so much. Nurses were invited to relax, recharge and feel truly appreciated for the vital roles they play every day.

“It’s our opportunity to care for them a little bit,” said Sydney Daugherty, community sales director at Village Manor. The event wasn’t just for their own staff—it welcomed nurses from across the region. Organizers say recognizing these selfless professionals, even with small gestures, sends a powerful message.

“We see them and we appreciate all their hard work,” Daugherty added. And if you missed this year’s event, don’t worry—Village Manor says it definitely won’t be the last.
