UPDATE: 2 arrested in Bowling Green after fentanyl found in vehicle

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has released further details surrounding two drug trafficking arrests in Bowling Green.
According to authorities, deputies were investigating a reported custodial interference incident on May 15 when a vehicle pulled into the driveaway.
Officials say the driver, Aurea Hernandez, 30, of Antioch, Tennessee, stated she was a relative of a missing juvenile.
Authorities say after noticing the vehicle smelled of marijuana, Hernandez showed she possessed an empty marijuana package and denied ownership of anything else in the vehicle.
During a probable cause search, officials say they found a stolen pistol, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and trafficking amounts of narcotics.
Hernandez was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance with enhancement (cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana), drug paraphernalia, receiving a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Both Hernandez and Ontiveros-Valerio remain at the Warren County Regional Jail on multiple charges.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two people are facing drug trafficking charges in Bowling Green.
According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded Thursday around 9:40 a.m. to a residence on Cemetery Road for a separate incident.
During this time, authorities say a vehicle pulled into the driveway.
Deputies say the driver was identified as Aurea Hernandez, 30, of Antioch, Tennessee. The passenger was identified as Brandon Ontiveros-Valerio, 25, of La Vergne, Tennessee.
Authorities say they detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. This resulted in a probable cause search, deputies say, which led to the discovery of a pistol confirmed to be stolen out of Nashville.
Deputies say they also located a bag of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine. In addition, authorities say they found marijuana in the vehicle, along with other paraphernalia.
Hernandez and Ontiveros-Valerio were placed in separate vehicles and spoke to law enforcement.
Authorities say Aurea stated she borrowed the vehicle and did not know anything was in there aside from the marijuana, which she claimed as her own.
Officials say Ontiveros-Valerio denied owning anything in the vehicle.
Both individuals were arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.
Hernandez is charged with receiving stolen property (firearm), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 4 grams of cocaine), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 ounces), first offense.
Ontiveros-Valerio is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 4 grams of cocaine), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
