Babacar Faye joins Don McHenry and the Utah Utes

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. The fifth Hilltopper in the men’s basketball portal has announced where he will be heading for the 2025-2026 season.

Graduate transfer Babacar Faye will be heading out west to join fellow WKU teammate Don Mchenry at the University of Utah.

The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 15.2 points and 7.8 rebounds this past year, leading the Tops in multiple areas on the court before suffering a season-ending injury just ahead of conference play.

With Faye’s commitment, just two Hilltoppers remain in the portal from Western in Enoch Kalambay and Fallou Diagne.
