BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Friday rain took a small break, allowing the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats and Bowling Green Purples to play what would turn out to be a high-scoring baseball game.

With the win at home, the Purples improve to 12-7 on the season (8-4 at home).
