Realtor Association of Southern Kentucky provides Hope for Hunger

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hunger continues to affect people from all backgrounds, but local organizations are stepping up to help.

In south-central Kentucky, the Realtor Association of Southern Kentucky is leading efforts to fight food insecurity.

For the past 14 years, it has hosted the Hope for Hunger event, part of a statewide initiative by the Realtor Association of Kentucky. This event helps provide meals to families in need across the region.

Gabby Springs, president of the local association, says realtors are committed to building stronger communities.

“Realtors are part of that village,” she said. “And we want to see our children and neighborhoods thrive.”

This year’s event will result in over 120,000 servings of food distributed. These meals will support families across seven counties in south-central Kentucky.
