Tyrone Marshall Jr. commits to George Washington University
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The window to enter the college basketball transfer portal officially closed on April 22nd with six Hilltoppers in it, and this week that number became five.
WKU men’s basketball forward Tyrone Marshall Jr. announced on social media on Wednesday that he will be leaving this Hill and heading to Capitol Hill to join the Revolutionaries of George Washington University.
The 6-foot-9 graduate student out of Nashville spent three seasons at Western and never missed a contest through all 99 games on the roster as a Hilltopper.
This past year, Marshall finished third in the league for defensive rebounding with 5.5 per game and finished second on the team in both blocks and steals.
