Best in Kentucky 2025 voting set to start in May
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Best in Kentucky is back, and voting for your favorite spots is set to start next month.
Supporting local businesses, restaurants and tourist attractions gives consumers the chance to share the experiences they have at these locations.
News 40 spoke to Joe Arnold Kentucky, the spokesperson for Kentucky Living Magazine, who tells us how this also offers and enhances the support that is given from customers.
He says, “When you’re a locally owned business or locally owned restaurant, sometimes you don’t get the same kind of play as maybe a national chain does. We love to celebrate these locally owned, member-owned, co-op, member-owned businesses across the state. And also to kind of peel that back. I mean, face it, when you find a great place, when you find something that you know, that maybe your neighbors own or you’re there all the time, you want to share that.”
It’s a chance to support local businesses, restaurants and tourist attractions, even local people.
Finalists included local radio talent Kellie McKay and tourist attractions like Mammoth Cave National Park, Dennison’s Roadside Market, The Grove, Kentucky Down Under, Lighthouse Restaurant and Ace Coffee Company.
You can begin voting May 1, and voting ends May 31. For more details, visit, Kentucky Living
