South Cow provides meals to flood victims
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – There are a few positives coming out of the flooding in south-central Kentucky. Many business owners are serving the community despite the circumstances of most cities.
World Central Kitchen reached out and partnered with the South Cow food truck to support the Warren County community by providing hundreds of meals to those impacted by floods after the past few weeks of severe damage.
Patrick McKinney, the South Cow owner, tells us, “It devastated some areas worse than others. And it’s one of those things that I don’t think we knew how bad it was until people reached out, just the community coming together really obviously, you know, I need things, but it’s the way I found is when you give, you receive. So we’re just going to continue to be in that position and just give and do all we can and and hope that we stay afloat.”
News 40 will bring more information on donation efforts for victims as they become available.
