Man accused of raping juvenile arrested
A man accused of raping a juvenile family member has been indicted on two counts of first-degree rape and one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
According to reports from Bowling Green Police, the juvenile told officers 38-year-old Jason Bowles raped her several times over the years, beginning at the age of twelve. She told police Bowles is a family member and lived with them at one point during the time of the incidents.
Bowles was arrested in Tennessee Wednesday and served an indictment warrant for his arrest, nearly one year after the juvenile spoke to police.
He’s currently being held in the Warren County Regional Jail on a bond totaling over 150-thousand-dollars.
