The outlet says fire departments from Leitchfield, Caneyville, Clarkson, East Grayson and Falls of Rough, as well as Leitchfield Public Works, responded Wednesday night for multiple downed trees on roadways. Two of the trees reportedly damaged power lines.
At 11:55 p.m., the East Grayson Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to Carman Drive for a report of a house that had been “picked up and dropped onto a truck.” Upon arrival, firefighters found a modular structure had flipped into a truck.
No injuries were reported.
K105 says a resident that lives near the scene said he heard “what sounded like a tornado” before seeing what had happened. A nearby motorcycle had also been moved several feet from its original spot.
Members of the East Grayson Fire Department said the area received a large gust of wind just before they were dispatched to the scene.
