2025 Women’s Leadership Conference and Expo supports local leaders

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Empowering women can go a long way, and on Tuesday, right here in Bowling Green, hundreds of women were uplifted.

More than 400 women gathered for the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Women’s Leadership Conference, an event designed to foster connection and inspiration.

This conference provided a space for women to pour into one another, encouraging leaders to remain resilient no matter the challenges life may present.

Kelly Thomas, CEO/president of Vista Metals, emphasized the importance of women supporting each other in leadership roles.

“Women in leadership positions are really special, and it can be intimidating at times,” she said. “Creating spaces like this allows us to encourage and mentor each other, building a bigger support network and lifting each other up.”

The conference not only honored women in leadership but also highlighted the long-term impact of showing love and support for women today.

By empowering women now, we ensure that future generations continue to benefit from a strong, supportive community of leaders.
