WKU Lady Hilltoppers defeat FIU 83-48 in largest conference win of the year

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -The Lady Hilltopper basketball team traveled to Miami, Florida, to take on FIU on Thursday.

In the last go-around between the two teams back in January, the Lady Panthers posted a 68% shooting clip from the field, but the Lady Tops flipped the script in this second matchup, as they were the ones to shoot 66% and grab a whooping 83-48 win in the Sunshine State.

Destiny Salary led WKU with a career-high 26 points and the Tops now pick up their 22nd win on the season, which is the most since the 2019-2020 campaign.

WKU remains on the road for its final game of the regular season at Liberty on Saturday.
