UPDATE: State police investigating murder-suicide in Lincoln County

CRAB ORCHARD, Ky. (WKYT) – WKYT reports a third death in this case occurred when Perry died later at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

CRAB ORCHARD, Ky. – Kentucky State Police is investigating a murder-suicide in Lincoln County.

KSP says it was contacted Thursday evening by Bluegrass 911 for assistance in investigating a shooting on Main Street in Crab Orchard. Three individuals were shot.

KSP’s initial investigation shows Spencer Baldwin, 30, of Crab Orchard, allegedly shot Dennis Perry, 40, of Loretto, and Heather Baldwin, 30, of Crab Orchard, before shooting himself.

Heather Baldwin and Dennis Perry were transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Baldwin was later pronounced dead by the Lincoln County Coroner’s Office.

Spencer Baldwin was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
