Police capture Warren County inmate who walked off of a work detail

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Police in Illinois captured a Warren County Regional Jail inmate who walked away from a work release program Dec. 17.

Michael B. Lane, 36, was captured in Mount Vernon, Ill., according to a release from Kentucky State Police.

At about 7:15 a.m. Dec. 17, Kentucky State Police Post 3 in Bowling Green, received a call stating an inmate had walked away from a work release program near Scottsville Road and Oliver Street in Warren County.

Police searched the area for Lane but until Monday evening did not know his whereabouts.
