Kentucky woman sparks social media outrage over trophy hunting

One Kentucky woman is under fire this morning surrounding a controversial Facebook post from last year regarding a trophy kill in a foreign country. 

The female hunter is Tess Thompson Talley, from Kentucky, as she stands proudly beside a black giraffe that she herself hunted in South Africa.

The original post wrote that the trip she took was a "once in a lifetime dream hunt" that came true.

According to the post, the black giraffe was over 18 years old, weighing over two tons.

This post has sparked major controversy online, with one person calling it immoral and wrong activity.

However, trophy hunting is legal in that country.
