Woman injured after crashing into wall at Glasgow Water Company
GLASGOW, Ky.- The Glasgow Police Department responded to the intersection of West Main Street and North Liberty Street in reference to an injury accident on Thursday. According to police, an investigation determined that a 2010 Ford Escape, operated by Sherri Raines, was traveling westbound on Main Street when she collided with a retaining wall at the Glasgow Water Company. Raines stated that she had met a large truck utilizing bright lights, causing her not to see the roadway.
The Barren/Metcalfe EMS transported Raines to a nearby hospital for her injuries.
The accident was investigated by Officer Patrick Wade, assisted by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
