Lady Toppers take on LA Tech in Education Game

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU women’s basketball will host Louisiana Tech on Thursday at 11 a.m. in E.A. Diddle Arena for the annual Education Game. Children from local schools will be in attendance for game, cheering on the Lady Toppers.

ABOUT THE TOPS
- Four different Lady Toppers are averaging double digit points this season. Alexis Mead is leading the team with a 13.95points per game average, Destiny Salary is putting up 12.5 points per game, Acacia Hayes is scoring 12.1 points per game and Josie Gilvin is averaging 10.3 points per game.

She is just the fourth Lady Topper to record over 1,150 career points, 400 career assists and 200 career steals, joining Renee Westmoreland, Kendall Noble and Clemette Haskins on the elite list.
- WKU has held 12 of 17 opponents under 70 points this season, notching a record of 11-1 when doing so. The Lady Toppers are 92-25 under head coach Greg Collins when keeping teams below 70. WKU has held five teams below 60 this season, going 5-0 in those games. The Lady Toppers are 45-9 under Collins when holding teams below 60.
