Cox earns VolleyballMag.com All American Honorable Mention

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Volleyball’s Kaylee Cox collected yet another postseason award on Thursday, landing on VolleyballMag.com’s All American Honorable Mention list for the second straight season.

Her fifth postseason accolade comes from a season that saw her ranked eighth in the conference in hitting percentage (.314), and second in kills per set (3.55), points, and service aces (0.40/S) while also named the Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year,
the CUSA Alyssa Cavanaugh Player of the Year. Nationally, she earned her second straight AVCA All-Region honor after finishing in the top 50 nationally in total kills (466), points (563.5), and service aces (50).

The Texas native lead the Hilltoppers offensively, helping the program to its 9th Conference USA tournament title, 10th CUSA regular season title, and 17th NCAA Tournament appearance after collecting 466 kills on the season. During the postseason stretch, she
named the tournament MVP during the CUSA Championship Tournament and CUSA All Conference First Team recognition shortly after.

The Flower Mound, Texas native served as a six rotation player for the Hilltoppers, leading WKU in service aces (50) and finished with a 95.6% serve receive success rate. On the other side of the net, Cox collected 70 total blocks when on the front row, with
25 of those blocks being solo stuffs.

Cox’s honor marks the 30th total All-American accolade for the Hilltoppers, with 12 different players combining for the mark in program history. She recently graduated in December of 2024 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Cox was also recently drafted
on November 25 by the Columbus Fury to play in the Pro Volleyball Federation.
