Keyshawn Swanson enters 2025 NFL Draft

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Just a day after fellow defensive back Upton Stout announced his intentions to enter the upcoming NFL Draft, WKU football senior defensive back Keyshawn Swanson declared on his social media that he will be entering the draft as well.

The west Florida native spent just one season as a Hilltopper in 2024, after four years in Alabama at Troy University.

Following 38 games as a Trojan, Swanson made the decision to transfer to WKU for his final year in college, and in the lone season under head coach Tyson Helton, he was able to rack up 63 total tackles, with 39 being solo and 1.5 being for a loss.

His best games of the year were the final two, against Jacksonville State in the Conference USA championship and against James Madison in the 2024 Boca Raton Bowl, where he logged 14 tackles and 11 tackles, respectively.

Swanson is the third WKU football player to enter the upcoming NFL Draft, joining Stout and running back Elijah Young, and the trio will await hearing their names in Green Bay, Wisconsin during the event held from April 24-26.
