BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Steve Sheldon celebrated the opening of his ninth Sheldon’s Express Pharmacy Friday morning on Nashville Road across the street from South Warren High School.

The store has already been open for about two months and is on pace to see 2,500 people this month alone, he said.

“We have several in southern Indiana,” Sheldon said during the ribbon cutting ceremony. “We just opened a new one in Illinois. The good thing about this store it’s been open a couple of months.

“We came out here because it kind of makes the four corners of Bowling Green. There’ a lot of residential growth out here, as if you all don’t know that. The roads are being widened. There’s a lot of activity out here, and we’re thankful to be here,” he said.

Sheldon thanked Houchens Industries for their role in the pharmacy’s expansion.

“We couldn’t do it without Houchens,” he said.
