Veterans Alliance Center brings positive impact to families

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Located on the bypass in Bowling Green is a unique non-profit that gives away resources for free. It is not only building up veterans, but also positively impacting their families. Tom Bridges, the president of the Kentucky Veterans Brigade tells us the dedication to improving the lives of Kentucky veterans couldn’t happen without support from donations and volunteers.

Tom says, “I work a full-time job away from here. This is what I do on my days off. I just want to help out my fellow veterans because not all of them got out of the military, found a career and did good at a career… That’s why I get caught up or get weak in my voice while talking because it really touches me.”

From books, food, women and children’s apparel and even the limitless men’s clothing all of this is free to veterans and is making a massive difference in the lives of those who need it most. The Veterans Alliance Center has given out more than 60 boxes a month and can use your help, if you’d like to support you can contact 270-938-2667 or drop off your donations at 600 US 31W Bypass Suite, Fairview Plaza Bowling Green, Ky.
