27 student-athletes set to graduate this weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A total of 27 WKU student-athletes are set to participate in graduation ceremonies and earn their degrees from Western Kentucky University this weekend.
Three of the 27 student-athletes will be receiving their master’s degrees, while the others will be earning their bachelor’s degrees or receiving a certificate of completion in a new area.
Degrees obtained include accounting, business administration, enterprise management, exercise science, facility and event management, management, marketing, mechanical engineering, physical education, public health, real estate, recreation and sport administration, and sport management.
Over the 2024 calendar year, 108 student-athletes have earned their degree from the institution, including 50 in the spring.
Graduation ceremonies are set to take place on Friday, Dec. 6 in E.A. Diddle Arena.
WKU has continued to achieve high standards in the classroom, earning its highest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) in program history (90%) in the latest report by the NCAA last month.
This semester’s graduating class hold a cumulative GPA of 3.29.
