Bowling Green Parks and Rec hands out letters from Santa

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Santa’s workshop is making a temporary stop in Bowling Green this holiday season, bringing some Christmas magic to local children.

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is offering a unique experience for kids to connect with Santa in a special way. While many of us remember writing letters to Santa, the parks and rec department is giving children the chance to find out if they made the naughty or nice list with a letter from Santa.

Braxton Sowell, a staff member with Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, explains that receiving a letter from Santa can motivate kids to behave better and get into the holiday spirit.

“Santa sees you, and we want them to know that,” Sowell says. “It’s a great way to get kids excited for Christmas and remind them to do the right thing.”

It’s not just about writing a letter; it’s about giving kids an experience that makes the season feel even more magical.

Parents, nieces and nephews still have time to register for this festive opportunity and receive a personalized letter from Santa himself.
