Some cultural insight in Warren County, German exchange students reflect on time in America

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A group of German exchange students departed on Tuesday, taking with them a lot of memories and a desire to return to the states.

News 40 spoke to some exchange students this week who were attending South Warren High School, and saw them off as they head back home. The students were excited to experience the life of an American teenager and try American foods as well as sight see.

The German American Partnership Program allowed students from Germany to spend 2 weeks here in America, visiting a town that is similar to theirs and it was a great benefit to both the visitors and their host families.

Students told us it was a great learning experience on both ends, a real eye opener and motivation to travel as much as they can while they’re young.
