Room in the Inn in need of volunteers

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- As the season changes and the weather cools down, programs like Room in the Inn are in need of volunteers to help support the homeless in the community.

The Room in the Inn program officially began on Nov. 15, and as Bowling Green continues to grow, so does the homeless population.

Volunteers are crucial in providing assistance to those in need, and their efforts will have a meaningful impact on individuals facing homelessness this winter.

Dewayne Conner, a board member with Room at the Inn, shares that the program is not just a shelter but a “center of hope” and an “opportunity” for people to get off the streets and find stable employment.

The program offers more than just a warm bed—it’s a place where individuals can work toward rebuilding their lives.

Anyone interested in volunteering can make a difference, and it’s easier than ever to get involved. For more information on how to sign up and help, visit signupgenius.com.
