Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce earns 5-star accreditation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has once again received a 5-Star Accreditation from the United States Chamber of Commerce.
According to a release from the chamber on Friday, the honor recognizes the chamber’s “unwavering commitment to excellence in serving the businesses and communities of south-central Kentucky.”
The chamber says the accreditation process looks at the organization’s governance, finance, human resources, government affairs, program development, technology, communications, facilities and benchmarking.
The release says only 1% of chambers nationwide receive this highest level of recognition.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by the U.S. Chamber for our efforts to serve our community and partners at the highest level,” said Chamber President and CEO Ron Bunch. “Our team works hand-in-hand with local leadership to ensure Bowling Green remains a place where businesses can grow and prosper. This reaccreditation is a testament to the strength of those collaborations and our commitment to excellence.”
According to the release, the chamber has maintained continuous accreditation since 1973.
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce says it is committed to “advancing the interests of its partners and supporting the sustained growth of the region’s economy.”
