Hilltoppers grab first win of 2024 season; knock off Campbellsville 104-76
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Hilltoppers, led by first year head coach Hank Plona, welcomed the Campbellsville Tigers, with the Tops looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Grand Canyon over the weekend.
Five Hilltoppers were in double-digits on the night, but the man with the hot hand was Khristian Lander.
The senior guard put up a game-high 23 points off the bench, with a lights-out performance from three-point land, shooting 5-8 from deep.
And the women’s team scoring 100 over the weekend must’ve rubbed off on the men’s team, as they claw their way to put up 104 points on the Tigers and win their first game of 2024 by a final score of 104-76.
